“And yall can wear blindfolds” that may be the dirtiest joke on this show

When you say just kidding and then roll your eyes it doesn’t seem like you are kidding

Something is off with Austin. Honestly, my intuition tells me he has a control issue!

Every time I see Joys sad face it makes me want to reach out and hug her.
I'd hate to think Austin is being horrible to her but something is not right with that whole situation

I hope Joy isn’t abused by Austin. He seems creepy and controlling, and she was such a confident and happy kid, I feel like she’s lost a lot of that since she’s been with Austin.

Joy and Austin have been married for two years and they need to get it off auto-pilot. They both seem sad. I think weirdly John David and Abbie are the most natural couple there seems to be a genuine connection. I also like Kendra and Joe. That Austin rubs me the wrong way Joy looks utterly defeated. Pastor Caldwell is super creepy.

Is it just me or does it seem extremely creepy to go to a marriage retreat led by your father?

The biggest problem is that they are wired to get married fast and have babies right after. They don’t really know each other. They are all in the honeymoon stage and then boom they have a baby and don’t truly know themselves or their spouse. They don’t focus on themselves before adding a baby to the mix. For the most part they don’t know themselves and don’t know who the other person really is

Jim Boob always popping into the show somehow offering nothing of substance

I love the fact that Jinger doesn't participate in these brainwashing sessions

Joy probably clams up because Austin argues with her and tells her how wrong she is. Can't believe he said that she needs help. What could she possibly be doing wrong? He comes across as emotionally/mentally overbearing (I'd say abusive, but folks on here don't seem to understand the subtleties and nuances of abuse and freak out at the use of that word).

Why should couples share a room with another married couple at a marriage retreat.?.. nope

Despite all these harsh comments, I really appreciated this episode. It made these couples seem more real than what they've previously portrayed on this show.

They are having kids after kids and yet they still need to understand how a marriage works. Why don't they figure it out before getting married and having babies? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Just prove that they dont knew each other that well to decide to get married

I feel bad for Kendra. She’s so sweet and enthusiastic and happy, and Joe just doesn’t match that kind of personality. I remember when Kendra was so excited to tell him she was pregnant and he was like “uhh ok”. They just don’t match together, this is why you don’t marry the first person you date for a month.
(Not trying to say anything rude about joe, he’s lovely just not matching Kendra’s energy)

I think Austin and Joy love each other and can work on the relationship..but Austin needs to work on being less controlling. I remember when Joy was so full of Joy

This is good advice, not only in a marriage. Life moves fast, make time every week to sit down and communicate
