Easy way to find a leak in your inflatable ring Intex pool with plastic wrap

After trying soapy water and soap we finally discovered an easy way to find leaks using wet plastic wrap. Once we found the leaks we used a vinyl repair kit to patch the holes.

Oh dear lord thank you for making this video. I have a pool that i have used soap and water on and can't find the leak and because this is going on during the Covid-19 ordeal I can't find a new one because they are all sold out and people are now price gouging. You saved me! I cannot thank you enough. If you can believe it, my stupid cat jumped from the deck into my lap while I was floating today! 2 holes going in, two more going out! 🙄 We searched for hours! Found 3 but the ring wouldn’t stay inflated. We were losing daylight! 😬 Used your method and found it in literally 1 minute! Again, thanks!!

Yay. I was skeptical, but did it for about 5 minutes and found it. One thing I will note: it’s easier to find if the ring is inflated as much as possible (even though it’s leaking). So fill it up, and then quickly be prepared to use the Saran Wrap. If you don’t find the leak, fill up the ring again and keep looking. 🎉

I spent over 90 minutes with my large intex water slide in my pool and with a hose trying to find a couple leaks with no success. Came in to eat and found your video. After diner found 2 leaks in about 20 minutes. Thanks for the great video.
