What makes Dave funny is his understanding of tone, rate of speech, timing, delivery, facial expressions and confidence. He is a well put comedian, he also doesn't care if he is "controversial".

Chapelle is someone that you just want to listen to. He doesn't have to be doing comedy. His stories and real world talk are so real and hit home. He's got a lot of real world experience, and it's amazing what you could learn from this man.

Poe used to come up with the ending of his short stories and poems before writing them. He also wrote an essay called "the philosophy of composition" where he explained that having the end in mind is helpful for writing a concise and impactful story where every small detail is there for a reason.
