I went to high school in Glendora, CA. It has always been one of my favorite cities. In this video, I take you through the Glendora Village and through one of the Historic Districts.

Also, I must apologize for the date and time stamp on the video. I had an issue with the camera and reset it to factory settings and didn't realize it until I started editing.

My hometown, born and raised here. My family has owned the same home and property here for 105 years. Moved back to the family home a few years back, love living here. Love this town. It has definitely changed. I still miss Box toy store, the shoe repair shop, and the old grocer on the corner. You missed two houses across the street that are well over 100 years old, and had been relocated to the properties. The Big Yellow house on the corner has some funny family stories and a scary one( not ghost) just an incident that had a good out come. Thank you for sharing, this was pretty cool to see. Pretty Proud of this little town❤

The Painted Moon was my favorite art store. I was heartbroken when he retired and closed his shop. Maybe I should open one there 🌞

You missed classic Coffee on the other side and the Pizza place owned by the sweetest woman ever. I love Glendora. I’ve lived there off and on since I was 15yrs old- I can’t wait to go back. What I miss is the era before they groomed the trees to look like mushrooms. But I used to get my hair done at Bobbi pins before they changed the name. Glendora is a wonderful place.

The 50's diner mentioned in the video was called "Fender Benders." It was one of the Old Town anchors for many years. Also worth mentioning on the same block just north is/was the Dutch Coffee Shop. Both restaurants were frozen in time.

Wow, I grew up in Glendora and went to high school there also. Haven’t been there in years and it seems things have changed of course. Thank you for the interesting look at some of the old and new.

Israel Soliz Are you sure that's the same street you used to like? You should've taken the much more scenic route of Foothill Blvd/Glendora Ave and drive east to Lone Hill. There are many historic, old-money mansions to see. Ah, though, good ol' Glendora. The pride of the foothills. I grew up here and my babysitters were pot-smoking hippies enrolled at APU and Citrus. My son was even born at Glendora Hospital. Much of it is the same but a whole lot more has changed. Abe Vigoda lived here too until he passed.

I miss Glendora! I used to live when I was a student at Citrus. I don’t know if still there is a coffee shop called 222 in old towns there, I used to study and hang around with my friends.
