I know he can finally use his cannons, but physical blastoise can surprise people even further. His attack and sp. attack are somewhat equal (83 vs 85) and he can use wave crash, ice spinner, earthquake, brick break, etc

I've been thinking about giving physical blastoise a try. Shell smash, aqua jet, ice spinner, wave crash, torrent, maybe tera dragon for grass and electric type moves. Seems like it could be underrated.

now imagine if it had flip turn and a higher attack stat. you'd use wave crash to get into torrent range, flip turn to pivot, shell smash to set up, and maybe ice spinner for offense

He really is the OG shell smasher 🐚💥 for me I use Shell Smash with White Herb and the moves Scald, Ice Beam and Tera Blast (with ground Tera type to cover electric weaknesses)
