I'm curious to hear about what happened to this plane. I was interested in the UL520T but might have to hold off until they figure out what failed on the engine. Beautiful aircraft but the engine might be a little too "experimental" for me

Could you imagine how it would yaw if you lost an engine must have counter rotating props. What’s VMC?

Well, guess we won't be seeing much of this plane anymore... A speedy recovery and grievance for those aboard.

Makes me wonder though, it looks like both the engines are turning in the same direction. Was any testing of single engine performance/stability prior to the crash? I know the standard V-Twin is pretty stable on one engine, but typically those props spin in opposite directions so there's no critical engine if I recall...
