The ending to this is so good. I love that it didn’t try to do anything crazy or out of character. It just played out a lovely family scene around a dinner table in their modest home, everyone just loving each other’s company. It’s symbolic to what the show was about. Family and love. Brilliant.

Robert: "Alright, Uncle Robert's hungry and big, and if you don't wanna get eaten, move out of the way."

🤣 Robert is a fun Uncle to those kids.

Between covid 19, and all the riots going on, it just feels so good to escape this complicated world for a minute, and watch this amazing comedy show.

There will never be another sitcom that even comes close to how funny and relatable ELR was!! Not only that, but the casting of the characters was spot on! I LOVE every single one of them! In my opinion, this show was perfect in every way... I watch at least one episode in the morning as I have my coffee waiting to get ready for work and it helps to start my day in a good mood! 😆
Btw... if you love Ray as much as I do and you haven't already, you have to see "Somewhere in Queens" I absolutely loved it! A simple but wonderfully written story... and the casting was great in the movie also.. Obviously Ray was awesome but Laurie Metcalf 🤯 Wow! What a performance... Bravo Laurie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻... I can see her winning an Oscar...

When Ray is under the table cleaning up, and Jeffrey and Michael throw their bowls down, their hands aren't anywhere near the bowls. The bowls just fly off the high chair by themselves. Movie magic.

ELR has gotten better, and more funnier with age since the show ended in 2005!

When I was a kid, this aired right when I came home from school. My mom back then had lunch break later than normal, so she was got home also (worked close). We both ate lunch and watched this show. Here is the amazing part - I had stuff to laugh about, but sometimes my mom laughed at some strange sentences that didn't make much sense to me :D And thats the amazing thing this show pulled off - everyone will have something to laugh about, the whole family. I also love Two and a Half men - but thats way more tailored for grownups.

Sometimes I remember I felt my mom didnt like the stuff I was laughing about :D She felt it as a mild attack on her :D
