Why I Don't Practice The Law Of Attraction Anymore

Why I NO LONGER believe in The Law Of Attraction. I don't believe that practicing it does any good to me, and I don't believe in what it promotes: self-sufficiency and entitlement without God.
This video is about why I don't practice anymore in the Law of Attraction and instead, I have decided to have a close relationship with God.
The difference? a lot! One important one is surrendering vs control.
NOTE: I sometimes, during this video, referred to God as "It". English is not my native language and sometimes I use the words as they come. I always refer to God as He.

So the origins of the Universe in actuality, comes from One Spoken Phrase.

This went deep quick and I like it. I 100% agree with your statement that people in general were fed up with church as an institution and therefore put distance between themselves and God and started referring to and replacing God with 'the universe'. It is rather unfortunate but at the same time I understand the reasoning for disassociation. What people often fail to see is that ALL humans are flawed and sin. Even the holiest church leaders have sinned and need forgiveness. This is NOT a direct reflection of God, but rather a direct reflection of the sin nature of ALL humans. (except Mary and Jesus).

Law of Attraction - I was never a fan of the idea but I did give it consideration. In many ways the law of attraction is like a prayer to God except, it is not, and therefore most likely fulfilled by repetitious training of the brain of setting goals and working towards achieving them. People often want the easy way, myself included, but what I have found that what actually works is determining your dreams and passions. Next is to learn enough about those dreams/goals to determine if it is worthy of pursuing. Once you have determined it is worthy of pursuing then set goals (short, medium, long-term). Understand that the goals can be changed and moved around in order to accommodate for life events, obstacles, etc. Work everyday towards those goals even if it is only a few minutes some days. The most important thing is to not give up even when it feels like no progress is being made. I have found when you feel stuck, it is often times an indicator that a major advance/break-through is coming soon.

Rediscovering God/Faith - I was raised Christian and fell away from the church and God between the ages of 16 into my early-mid 30s'. These were without a doubt some of the darkest and most turbulent times for myself and my family. Some very pivotal and supernatural events/experiences happened to my wife and I in our mid 30s in that all paths and signs led to Gods loving embrace, or eventual death through destruction. A choice was presented to us. We chose the path of God. From that moment on, my (our) lives literally changed for the better in almost everyway. I feel more and more free everyday I am alive now. I rediscovered peace, joy, serenity, hopefulness, Love and meanwhile fear, anger, jealousy, hate all began to dissolve away. Dont get me wrong, there is still a lot of work to do and it is not all roses, but it is WAAAAY better than the alternative.

God is speaking to all of us daily and it is done through signs, gentle nudges, through conversations with friends, sending people in our lives etc. - we just need to pay attention and stop denying the mystery of God. Mindi - the fact that you noticed those vibrations in your apartment ... well ... it very well could be God is speaking to you right at that moment to let you know you are on the right path, He does that a lot you know ;)

This is why I manifest based on vibe, like, what I really want. I don't manifest some crush to approach me but I align myself with feeling loved, giving love, loving myself, being the best version of me so I will automatically be with someone on the same vibe that give the same vibe = perfect. I also have a thought on what if- LOA doesn't do good to you bcs you believe it's not good for you from within? ;-; You are literally manifesting every second of your life- I respect ur belief tho. Personally in my experience in manifesting, when the thing is really not for me somehow things are 'preventing' me to manifest it consciously and so it won't manifest BUT then I learn why in a movie-like way.

My bff was saying something simular on this topic😊. I try to mix the law of atttaction with my faith. Like, if i want something i will trust that God will "give" it to me, IF he thinks that its good for me. But i dont strictly believe in the bible anymore. I just live to be a good person and help other people to make their life more easy and enjoyable. I think thats what any god would want.

The Law of Attraction is more like magic than it has anything to do with God. It is right to orient oneself more towards God's commandments than to one's own desires. Are these your Catholic roots or maybe even participation in the Eucharist? On this basis, you can also think about your spiritual gifts so that you can experience and glorify God more in your life.
