If this doesn't cover EA's decision to resell essentially the same game over and over again at full price versus simply offering updates via DLC, it's not a real doc. Because that's the real story - how EA has been taking advantage of its users for years.

Have you played Madden lately? It’s the same thing over and over and over again. 2K made a better game and EA took the license away. Smh.

I remember loving Madden and buying it every year from 97 to 2014. Too bad the game went downhill when they added ultimate team, but it made them money, so that's what matters to EA. This documentary does a good job of glazing EA. They should take the Madden name off their game. He deserves better.

Madden aint the same like how it was in the ps2 and ps3 days. The downfall was madden 13 when they started prioritizing ultimate team over the full game itself. The NFL should just open up the license and allow competition again

This is basically EA made madden games, then they just never stopped making madden games, and eventually acquired the NFL license. So everyone was forced to play only madden, and destroyed any competition so the games eventually became lazy annual games that guarantee money. since the casual sportsball gamer will buy every game no matter what.
