Animal Plastics vs. C Serpents Rack System Review | GECKOPIA

Hey Everyone!! The breeding season is coming shortly, and new breeders are searching for new reptile rack systems for their leopard geckos. Here is my personal opinion on why I would go for C serpents or Animal Plastics rack systems for my geckos.

CSerpents is a more solid build, and they make racks for Vision tubs. Those tubs are high quality and do not have the strong plastic odor. AP is more economical, the material seems less rigid overall, but they definitely do the job. I just do not care for the Container Store tubs for snakes, but fine for LGs.

I have both (CSerpents and AP), and another great company is JPM Reptilia, if you like white plastic racks. Not xPVC, they use a thinner but stronger plastic (I think high density polystyrene.)

C Serpents has many sizes available, and they offer a stackable system. They have some large systems also

Animal Plastics has some great enclosures but wait time kills it. Still waiting on my animal plastics enclosure almost 7months now. Would not buy again based on that.

Nice review Chris. You gave the price of your thermostats, but not the difference in total cost of the rack systems. I know the tubs cost you an extra $100. on the animal plastics. So I'm left unsure on you economic sides of review. Guessing on quality or custom in cost & comparison left me confused. You normally explain stuff in all aspects well Chris. I still liked your video & love your channel.

Hi bit off topic but I was wondering if my gecko was ok. She recently turned one and hasn’t been eating. I have checked and out of the past two weeks she has only had one fece. In the fece the part which is supposed to be white is yellow. I’m not very sure what is wrong with her. Her belly seem a bit softer. Is she dying?

I have just gotten a new rack from c serpents and I plugged the chord into my thermostat then put the probe on the head tape but it dosent feel like the bottom of my tubs are getting any heat. It feels like the tape just heats up a bit then stops and keeps going but my bottom dosent get warm enough to heat the tub
