Gov. Josh Shapiro said crews will work around the clock - 24 hours a day, seven days a week - to repair the highway until it is ready to fully reopen. A live stream will be set up so the public can watch the rebuild in real-time and it should be set up and operational by this week, Shapiro said.

You'll find they coffer the middle and ends, then fill. I'm old-school, I'd have used earth and rock, rammed in layers, but as long as they can remove it, no issues. You get a four-lane highway each side, then close one and use the other in counterflow for long-distance traffic, so on-ramps will be closed for ten to fifteen miles before the works, locals still have to struggle, but they'll be spared most of the big-rigs. They'll probably have to use the NJ anyway, does anyone know the load limits?

Great idea, but not really thrilled that it’s being bought at 1850.00 a ton. With a delivery charge of 700.00 a truck.

I heard that uncle fester was going to be there to help.
I'm quite sure he will have this bridge back and restore traffic in no time. 😅🤣😂

This headline... I should hope so. The Chinese would have already installed the new bridge.
