The ZIL-135 was originally built as a multiple rocket launching unit truck, but it seems like this one had its launcher removed, it also had a heavy duty side crane for its spare tire and for loading missiles

Car companies need to take note... This is a serious offroad vehicle. A plastic FWD, glorified hatchback with a 1.4L engine is not an offroad vehicle.

4 comrades: one for driving, one for navigation, one for pouring vodka, one for cutting cucumbers.

У нас в батальоне было 4 ЗиЛ-135, но реально, по бездорожью Урал 4320  выглядел лучше.

so 2 engines, exposed drive shafts going to transmissions(I'd guess 2) in the chassis, 8x8x4 but no axle between the rear wheels and no suspension? where can I get one?

awesome like all the other russian trucks. Only thing stronger is the women and the Vodka. Is it me or do all russian military trucks have a 1950's look about them?

I wonder if those engines are the V12 diesels that they put in their tanks like the T34, 55, 62 & so on?
I think they even use a modernized version to this day.
If it aint broke.!.!..
