AEMC® - DataView® File Types
Показать описание
DataView® file types:
This video discusses the various file types used by AEMC®'s DataView® data analysis software. These file types play critical roles in the downloading, storage, manipulation, and display of measurement data recorded by AEMC® instruments and viewed on a PC via DataView®. Four of these file types are associated with how DataView® creates reports from measurement data. These four file types are:
• .icp (instrument control panel) files contain the raw data downloaded from the instrument.
• .dvb (DataView® database) files contain data that has been specially formatted for report generation within DataView®.
• .dvt (DataView® report template) files determine how the data contained in the dvb files is selected and displayed as a report.
• .dvw (DataView® report) files store the generated DataView® report.
This video also mentions the file types .xls and .csv that are created when exporting DataView data to an Excel-compatible spreadsheet. Although these file types are not unique to DataView®, they do represent an important option for formatting and displaying DataView data. In addition, we discuss .dvc (DataView® configuration) and .dvl (DataView® layout) files and how they are used.
