Tour of Three Enchanting City Parks in Bratislava | Bratislava | Slovakia | What To Do In Bratislava
In this video, we take a closer look at Gabor Baross's Park, Hviezdoslavovo Park and Detske Ihrisko Park in Bratislava as three places you should check out on your next trip to Bratislava.
Hviezdoslavovo námestie (Hviezdoslav Square): This is one of the best-known squares in Bratislava. Named after the prominent Slovak poet Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav, the square is home to an array of significant buildings like the Slovak National Theatre. A charming park-like space in the heart of the city, it's filled with statues, fountains, and plenty of benches to sit and people-watch. There are numerous cafes and restaurants around the square where you can enjoy a meal or a drink. The square often hosts events, markets, and concerts, especially in the summer months and during Christmas time, with a beautiful Christmas market. With its central location and vibrant atmosphere, Hviezdoslavovo námestie is definitely worth a visit.
