Edit: So from what I understand, going to Inter Miami or Al Hilal, it’s simply just to get money. If he stayed at PSG, the club that he’s been at for two years with a fanbase that has no respect or support for him, that’s fine. If he went back to Barca, a place we would all love him to come back to, they would have to cut a lot of their talents and basically a lot of the success out of their team unless he takes a 50% paycut, he should have done that. I really feel like he was being reasonable both economically and logically with choosing Inter Miami that ended up being best for himself, his family, and Barcelona. He got a lot of options, (and except for Barcelona who would have to lost a lot of their talent on their team) and 75% of them would end up in big wages. There was bound to be money in it, but he didn’t choose Inter Miami for the cash

Barca couldn't give him assurance that they'd sign him. And somewhere down the line he remembers the events in 2021 where he trusted them but Laoprta couldn't so therefore he chose Inter Miami. But as a fan I'm very sad. That's it for the Leo Messi Era in European football 😢
