Eric, if it doesn't bother to you, can you please make a demo lesson video for us ? Yes I can understand all the steps but this is like listening to a music . Not playing a violin ..

Very helpful! I’ve been in public middle and elementary schools only so I’ve never been able to reach adults yet, so I’d love to get to work with adults in the future—their goals and visions are key! 🔑

Thank you, for this video, this is exactly what I needed. I'm considering teaching adults who have migrated from Spanish speaking countries. The content is excellent.

But if the students come in with no English language at all, they won’t understand when we ask “what information/words are most important for you to learn. Once they get a little understanding, your tips are great.

All fair points and sound advice. For less experienced language instructors, focusing on a couple of these points at a time should help with an eventual higher level integration. That said, in my opinion nothing beats a meeting of the minds in the adult learners' classroom, which can only happen when the instructor knows, understands, and has the ability and opportunity to address their students' true motivations for attending the class. For various reasons, this can be sometimes problematic to achieve. :-)
