You have to be a car enthusiasts to see it's a Ford GT. And since the GT production is new and with quite a few years in between it's understandable people don't recognize it. Specially the front looks a lot like F12 Berlinetta.

Ford GTs have been the most beautiful super cars since they first debuted in 1964 and are still on top. Obviously they cherry picked the interviews of people who don't know anything about cars, but still, anyone should know that this is clearly not a Mclaren, Bugatti or Ferrari.

I suppose if I have no idea but had some familiarity with supercars I'd guess McLaren or something more obscure like Koenigsegg.  Anyone who has seen the original GT40 or the last GT should know instantly.  It's very different but still so similar.
