"Dragon's Teeth" is one of the most beautiful sights of the Altai Mountains, which is a picturesque rocky islands in the shape of pyramids, as if emerging from the Katun River. This whole rocky complex resembles a dragon ridge.

An ancient legend tells us the story of the hero Sartakpai, who loved his native land very much, admired its beauties on the left and right banks of the Katun River, watched the locals. Only one thing bothered Sartykpai, how to make sure that residents of different shores could communicate with each other? He thought for a long time and finally found a solution to the problem: he took a huge piece from the top of the mountain with a mighty hand, crushed it into small stones and put it in the river so that people could build a bridge connecting the two opposite banks.
