I got a 5wt (actually 2 by now). Pretty much because of the hype when I was new. If I had known then what I know now, I would have gone for a 6wt. I mostly fish stillwater and my neck of the woods often are windy. Imho, standardized advice are crap.

Hey, sup bro, I'm not rly experienced in fishing and I use spin fishing rods and I'm not sure if flying rods are more better to use or not especially cause my country's fish game normally only recommends spin rods. Keep up the good work btw.
