Leaked 2020 DMs reveal JD Vance ripped Trump as ‘emperor’ who ‘failed to deliver’

The Washington Post obtained messages JD Vance sent to an acquaintance where he privately bashed then-President Trump. For example, in February of 2020 Vance wrote in part, “Trump has just so thoroughly failed to deliver on his economic populism.”
