This whole trailer was fire and the fact that this is the first new type of brush we got since Splatoon 1 is INSANE.

As a brush main I am immensely happy to see we FINALLY HAVE A NEW WEAPON!! After 8 years of only Inkbrush and Octobrush, I can’t wait to try the Painbrush to see it in action! (Also as a Wiper backup… NEW KIT! OH GOD YES!!!!) I also can’t wait to see how the new Salmon Run stage feels. AND CHALLENGES?? OFFICIAL MINIGAMES?? Summer is going to be GREAT!

I feel like this music track is one of the rarer Splatoon songs with minimal “squidish” speaking sounds and straight up instrumentals. It’s so refreshing to be honest.

This is definitely a lot better than the Twitter posts we got for fresh season. AND FINALLY NEW BATTLE MUSIC OUTSIDE OF SPLATFESTS. The new weapons also seem like an awful lot of funand I'm also looking forward to grinding 999 on the new Salmon Run stage. But I think the biggest surprise is the challenge mode. IT LOOKS SO FUN.

What is it about Splatoon 3 that brings back so many happy 90's childhood memories?

Especially my summertime growing up watching Nickelodeons "Wild and Crazy Kids" and "Double Dare" on TV after school ended for summer? The awesome level designs remind me of years spent going to the pool in the summertime with other kids and having late night water gun fights on our bicyles and mopeds around the neighborhood while smelling freshly cut grass and delicious barbeques all across my neighborhood. All while dressed up in bright neon colored clothes just like the cool kids did on "Saved by the bell" with our gel spiked hair and the girls with their long hot iron curled hairdoes and clinky bracelets.

I can literally smell the garden house in the heat of summertime sun as it tries to water my mom and dads lawn and taking my brand new Super Soaker 50 around my house and shooting at bugs and my sister and then getting ready for my birthday party at the arcade at the mall with all my friends and all i can play tokens as the birthday boy!

This game makes me feel like I'm 12 years old all over freaking love it.

Really hope those challenges are a permanent mode on rotation! I never thought I needed official splatoon modifiers until now

Edit: apparently challenges according to their Twitter are date-based and are not always around (please correct me if I’m wrong) :(
