The stingspawns are my favorite. I like that they're small and swarm, like mosquitos or flies- we don't get small machines like that so it was fun to see something completely new.

It's worth noting that if you hit a Stingspawn with a shock arrow, it will overload and explode, taking out any other Stingspawn in the area. Useful in taking out large groups of them in one or two hits

Apparently the Bilegut's tongue attack can also sometimes steal some of your supplies 🤡 Idk what it took but I didn't wanna lose any Brimshine so I just turned the game off after I saw Aloy react to her supplies being taken lol

Interesting seeing a kind of machine symbiosis in the form of bileguts and stingspawns being added to the game. I don't think I've seen symbiosis that deep before. Watchers/predator type machines and herbivores come to mind but they mostly act as a sort of bodyguard mechanic. This is the first time I've seen both machines benefiting each other (one is still a bodyguard but the other also gathers resources for the bilegut).

So we have seagull, sort of bee, frog, and old gigantic machine boss. In HZD, dlc had angry fire dog, ice bear, powerful fire bear, and tower.

in my opinion, i think Guerrilla was a little too excited for the Horus. I dont think they should have revealed it straight up in the trailer. Maybe like hint at something big coming to get us amped and then have us fight the thing. I think it kinda set our expectations too high for what we got. Thats not to say Im disappointed with the DLC. I had a lot of fun playing it. I would have liked more machines but its not a huge drawback. And the romance, while it is rushed, I still like it.

Kinda weird the Zenith Defence Drone doesn't count as a new machine even though Control Towers in Frozen Wilds did.

What I think will happen,

Massive Zeneith machines from NEMESIS will have Aloy stumped as its shielded and marching towards Meridian, then Aloy goes back to her birthplace, climbs through some terrain to reach the Horus above mother's Watch and she overrides its core to control it to fight the Zeneith machine

I think, the Horus fight was the reason why this expansion could not be played on a PS4 (pro). This series btw, was MY ONLY reason to get a PS5. This is a game I wish it would never end! But....all good things come to an end.
