i love how they mention that she started ballet at age 11, because a lot professionals start from ages 2-5, and shows that you don’t have to start super young to be successful

“Are my lashes falling off?”
“Yes they are, but it’s okay you’ll be fine.”

Literally story of anyone’s life in the dance production community.😂😂😂😂😂

I love how there's no air and attitude with her. She's very normal but at the same time truly amazing. How does she do that?!

One of my biggest regrets in life is that I stopped taking ballerina classes as a kid. I'm 24 now and although I know it's too late, I somehow can't let go of that dream and still imagine myself being a ballerina one day.

When I danced, I was always so jealous of Scout. I remember being in the same dance class as her and just wishing I could dance as good as her. One of the most beautiful dancers I’ve ever seen.

ok most people watching this videos are
1. ballerinas relating
2. dancers just watching
3. random people who have no clue what’s going on
4. people who like ballerinas 😂
5. ex ballerinas
6. ballerinas who don’t know what’s going on
7. figure skaters comparing
8. people with friends that are
ballerinas that are learning a little
9. contortionists
did i miss anything? let me know

I think ballerinas are really underrated, honestly. It's insane the kind of strain they put their bodies and especially their feet through. These girls (and boys) are insanely strong. I have lots of respect for them.

She's so bright and cheerful and full of sunshine in her smiles, just watching her made me want to be a more productive and optimistic person

I started ballet at 11, like her. I’m thirteen now and hearing that an amazing and professional ABT dancer started at that age, makes me a feel better :)

The dedication is real! Eat, sleep, and wake ballerina. You can do nothing else but be a ballerina.

They deserve more!!!! So much more. All of these people famous for being infamously messy!!! And are ballerinas. Dedicated and talented.

The shaving every day and dealing with constant ingrowns is a huge thing not talked about in ballet but most dancers go through :(

No one should look that beautiful straight from sleep at 6:30 am, no makeup, bed head. Oh, and be an incredibly talented ballet dancer, as icing on the cake. And be nice, and funny, too.
She has a yoga class done (and I doubt it's Beginner 101) before most people have had their first coffee. Then off to a 10- hour day of class, rehearsal and performance.
Scout, you and your ilk are forces of nature!
