I have had the same experience, both irl and in a dream. Irl, I hit my head after a seizure. Lost my ability to understand English and recognizing people in my life. One of my church group members was forewarned about this but did not believe them until she came into the ward herself and had to explain herself to me like we just met. I was surprised I actually made a short film too when I regained that memory.
