I am afraid that could corner Russia, result in worse outcome. Honestly, I believe that would be safer and better if Ukraine goes to Neutral though, as Russia already made clear that is a red line and there is no return for Russia. By Blinken saying they are giving Russian two paths and they have to choose, they are indirectly playing the role of authority, and the US is not the authority over Russia. I hope they realize that soon enough. The US needs to stop playing boss, the world is big and people want freedom.
