Originally released in 1993, Two Full Moons & A Trout was one of the seminal releases on Platipus Records.

It was picked up by Rising High in 1994 featuring the epic remix by Caspar Pound and mix by Friends Lovers & Family.

Platipus delivered 2 further remixes in 2006 by Luke Chable, Chab and Tetonik^.

Now 7 years later and 20 years after the original release, we thought it's time for a fresh take on this legendary release.

This time round from with mixes from Belgium's Airwave, Israel's Freedom Fighters & Domestic & Pixel, and USA's Terra Ferma, each bringing their own take within today's sound along with the Original 14″ Mix.

Little known fact: the ladies choir that sets in at ~ 3:52 is from a Bulgarian folk song called 'Kaval sviri' which you can actually find here on youtube! Kudos to Paul Brogden & Simon Berry to have sampled this iconic piece into their first well known acid techno piece from 1993 - it definitely add character!

Great, timeless tune. It got everything well put together, ambient, tribal, world, trance, acid, little bit of early psytrance, of course back in the day this would be called simply "techno". You could hear sample used by 2 Unlimited - Tribal Dance and Hardfloor - Acperience 1 303 pattern.
