Kawasaki has more torques gravely was fast cause its liter but the cut.quality of the Toro is better

I know this video is older - but does anyone know why Gravely no longer offers the Yamaha ? Did they have issues with that motor and decided to dump them ?

The Yamaha on the 260 is 29HP, The Yamaha on the 460 is 33HP. The Kawasaki 801V on the Toro is 25.5HP

I think that the Yamaha powered mowers will become what everyone wants.they have always been the innovator in the motorcycle, atv and outboard boat engine industries.
Also, when I was a young guy I had owned all 4 of the Japanese brand motorcycles(not at the same time)and the Yamaha was the only one I ever regretted selling

I just bought a 260 with the Yamaha on it. So far I like it a lot but I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up. Does anyone have one that they've really put to the test?

I know my comment is coming late but I've had the Yamaha efi for 2 years now and love it. Power is good and it is so smooth compared to the Kohler and Kawasaki's I have always run. Definitely recommend looking into them and I think they will become far more common in the coming years.

The engine has nothing to with the speed, it's weight and hydro transmissions.
