Can you take someone directly with you for a police investigation? If a misunderstanding is cleared up but the person is not released, and the police arrest the wrong person instead of the actual person involved, what should be done? The person who was taken for the investigation agrees to cooperate but is not being released, while the actual person is not being arrested. What should be done in such a situation? Please guide.
