RANGE (Rethinking Assumptions in a New Geostrategic Environment) is a crowdsourced forecasting program focused on geopolitics and the transatlantic relationship.

The growing systemic rivalry between the US and China has a direct impact on Europe and the rest of the world. Though the EU might prefer to stand on the sidelines in order to preserve a profitable trade relationship with both competitors, it will not be able to avoid taking sides with the US on crucial issues that will define the international order for the foreseeable future. Under the China category in RANGE, we are searching for the areas where U.S. and EU interests align, ways the transatlantic partners can develop common approaches to engage with China when possible, and to counter it when necessary.
