The only tornado I think that routinely gets overlooked on most devastating or most powerful is the jarrell Texas tornado. Yeah its damage amount isn’t crazy high but its lethality and power are almost unequaled. You should do a video on that monster. Lots of crazy facts about it: direction, speed, its origin, damage caused, soil erosion, gravity waves, etc.

Dr. Forbes worked with (and I think studied under) Dr. Fujita, updated ratings to help develop the EF scale, he's also an advisor to the weather channel, has done mad studies on tornadoes, downbursts, hook echos, and other severe weather formats.

The Super Outbreak of 1974 needs more discussion. It is responsible for the forecasting technology we use today and allowed for us to have advanced warning times and more clear and defined tornado warnings. No grease pencils were used ever again after that event.

I am from Saint Louis and for some reason STL gets overlooked when talking about tornados. The city has more deaths from tornadoes than other major city. If you look at the history of tornados the majority of the worst started in Missouri. The Tri State tornado started in Missouri. There is videos of survivors of the 1896 and 1927 STL tornadoes.

I'd love to see you do a full video on the May, 1999 OK storm. My dad is a (now retired) insurance adjustor and was living in OKC at the time. He showed us photos of the Mac Truck dealership that looked like a little kid played too rough with their Tonka trucks and then threw them down and walked away.

Could y'all possibly do a video about the April 2011 Camp Creek, Tn & Glade Spring, Va EF-3 tornadoes?

I watched a video that said the Natchez tornado likely had a much higher death toll because they didn't count the deaths of any slaves. They also said it was hard to get an accurate count because many bodies were lost to the Mississippi River because the tornado actually ran down the river.

Hey, some time could y'all do a vid on Greensburg? I feel like the first EF-5 under the enhanced scale gets forgotten a lot for how bad it was.

Worcester Massachusetts tornado was bad it may have been 1 level less then the Flint-Beecher tornado but it was still devastating of course shocking for the residents seeing a tornado hit their area

Some those tornados you mentioned I never even heard of but was interesting to hear about. Was kinda surprised that the ones you mentioned didnt get in top 10 Moore OK 1999 and El Reno OK tornadoes. But still enjoyed this alot. Would love sometime if could do a video on the Facts and Myths of tornado history!!!

The Gainesville F4 was actually a tornado merger, they formed apart from each other and then supposedly merge right in the heart of gainesville. The tornadoes later on separated from each other and drifted apart before they both dissipated.

First off I want to say. I just discovered y'all about 2 or 3 days ago and I love your enthusiasm and passion for weather.
I'm from southeast Texas and was wondering if y'all would do a video like this but for Hurricanes?
Also I'd love to see a study for Hurricane Laura last year. As well as what caused the insane 2020 Hurricane season?

If y'all ever come to Galveston Texas area, I'd love to meet y'all. I've been a storm enthusiast since I was about 8 ( 33 now) I'm no where near as well taught as either of y'all. But would love to learn from real pros.
