I wish they would have said something about the issue effecting the way the blazer was performing rather than just showing code reader... i have had several codes come up then not come up then have other codes totally different come up dealing with same issue... of coarse i have a cheap reader and am an old school repair type of guy growing up in 60s and 70's before computers were around in homes and cars etc...thanks

1A Auto. Hi great videos but quick question. Do i need to disconnect the negative battery first before replacing an o2 oxygen sensor?

Note: Prior to installing the O2 sensor, put anti-seize compound on the threads otherwise the sensor will corrode into place, never to be turned again!

I have a 99 S10, 4.3L V6. I was told at the parts store that it has 4 O2 sensors. I have looked hard and only see 3. 2 are located right after the exhaust manifold (before the catalytic conv.) and 1 is located after the catalytic conv. Are there 4 or just the 3 that I can actually find?

My pipe does not have sensors between the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter. The only sensor I have is the one between the converter and muffler. Is this normal for a 1998 GMC Sonoma 2.2 L?
