"touch sensitive" and "shiny black plastic" are going to fade away and make this car look old fast.
It's very difficult to keep clean and they eventually will get scratched.

I'm on my second GTI (Mk6 and Mk7) and it's all the car you'll ever need. Have told myself I'll stick with GTI's till I can afford a 911 :)

Mark 8 is great car, but I would exchange these flashy displays for mark 2 GTI instrument cluster. And steering wheel aswell :)

Great review as usual Thomas. I have my 7.5 GTI performance and certainly won’t be trading it in for a mk8. I think the designers at VW have lost the plot. Hope GTI owners swap to other brands.
