If only Apple and Samsung followed this approach, it would significantly reduce waste.

Sad that there aren't many other companies like Fairphone, I love what you all do to help workers, the environment and the consumer!
Unfortunately, I don't like the way you have designed your latest phone, hope to see the comeback of the headphone jack and better hardware in the future!

I really hope that the next fairphone is going to have a really great camera - hardware and software-wise. For me the Fairphone 4 camera was the dealbreaker X(

Hello CEO-person. can we please have the transparent rear back? And a better camera-module as an upgrade. People with children take a lot of pictures and are attracted to phones with good pictures. when my pixel3 dies, I want to get a fairphone, but the picture quality will take a lot of persuasion.

I ordered a new screen on Sunday... Called Monday + was told someone was going to help me get my screen faster... Called again on Tuesday to be told someone = going to help me get my screen faster.. Calles today Wednesday + again was told someone = going to help me... I still have no tracking number which means it hasn't been sent yet... Now I don't know how you run your business but needing 4 days to send a friggin replacement screen = just insane... are you people getting it from China on a horse + buggy... There are NO points to pick up spare parts.. Which = really bad service if you are unable to send a screen in a 4 days... I have never had such a bad customer experience ever... Don't know what you people do there but looking after your clients sure = not on your radar.... This = downright bizarre... Needing 4 days to send something = not ok... So everyone wanting to buy one... know that when your phone = broken + totally usuable like mine = right now... they say a lot + are not able to send a ffing replacement screen in 4 days... WTF... I am a small business owner, I have no phone for 5 days now because sending a replacement screen = inpossible... + this = BS!!

Have you calculated the impact of all the lithium batteries you've added to the world that removing the headphone jack creates?

I really hope that headphone jack will return in next phone.

If you want people to use phone for long time, making it repairable is not enough. It needs to be good device too. You have subpar display, cpu, gpu for the price, and on top of that you have to sacrifice headphone jack. It’s so triggering.
I still wish you success, but this generation is not for me.

I would like a Fairphone button phone. I actually still use a button phone for all my calls and texts and use my smarthphone for everything else. The reason is that the battery last many days so i can always make a call in case of an emergency, and i don't hqve to worry about my smartphones battery, because if it dies i can still call with my other phone.

Unfortenaly my old Nokia only supports up to 3G connections, so i bought a new Nokia button phone, but while the materials are very enviorment friendly compared to the old one, the build quality was much worse. It was also much bigger than my old Nokia that i could carry everywhere in my pocket regardless of what clothes I wore, and the new phone only supported 4G, not 5G so I will not get more than 10 years of lifetime of the new phone it problably.

I wish for a 5G Fairphone button phone that will last 20 years using software updates. Physical buttons that can be folded away and an E-ink touch screen with a 1 finger swiping keyborad that will speed up texting and emails. No video playback capabilty is necessary only audio, picture and text is enough. A decent camera so it can read QR codes and text without problems. Sailfish OS is the natural choice for this phone since it can run android apos too, and many payment apps are only available on Android or iOS.

Please consider this suggestion, people are starting to move back to "dumb phomes" nowadays anyways so there will absolutely be a market for this type of phone.
