For those who will buy the switch 2 i hope y'all get hall effects joysticks, but i wouldn’t have to much hope. I've been disappointed by Nintendo too many times with the switch 1 and it's one thing in the sea of improvements they need to do to win me back.

They confirmed it's NOT hall effect, I won't buy until I'm assured BY NINTENDO that they've addressed this issue, I lost SO MUCH money on Switch 1 joycons.

The are capacitor sticks, they both don't drift and don't care about magnets.

not interested in switch 2 at all, Nintendo will never up their game to be on steamdeck level, they just cant give any freedom to players. I consider nintendo more of a toy rn than console

Good luck thinking Hall Effect isnt gonna drift with dust getting stuck in it, or worse they are much less shock resistant (who could have guessed magnets dont like getting dropped or other magnets can interfere with it's own magnetic field)
