Good Morning from Gimmelwald

I just had to share this little moment with you from Gimmelwald — a cliff-hanging village high in the Swiss Alps. I’ve been visiting since I was a kid, and its appeal is timeless. Join me from the deck of my B&B as the sun peeks out from behind the peaks.

We stayed in Gimmelwald at Esthers Guesthouse back in 2013 after seeing a video on this little town. And to now, hardly a day goes by when I don't think about our five nights spent there. Gimmerwald is my most favourite destination out of nineteen countries we have travelled... So thank you Rick Steves...

We were there last week and it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. My kids and I loved it!

My wife and I were there a few years back, what a beautiful place. Wait until you see a cow being airlifted, the sight of a cow hanging beneath a helicopter will keep you giggling for days.
