I feel like "Return On Investment" and "Return Off Investment" are the same thing. The delineation between the two words is identical, even used in that construct. I understand what he was saying in regards to his investment philosophy, however, the terminology to me is no different. It's like saying "I want to make 10% "off" this investment based on me putting in 10k, or I want to make 10% "on" this investment if I put in 10k.
