Virtually no one seems to like Star Wars: The Acolyte despite it costing $180 million to make. In contrast, Godzilla Minus One crushed with both critics and audiences on a budget of just $10 million for the entire film.

Having watched both shows, Godzilla Minus One had more emotion and depth than Acolyte. Acolyte had an interesting premise but the execution was lacking.

The audience doesn't care about lgbtq diversity or making sure they have the right agenda in the movie. Most audiences would probably ignore all of it if it's executed and written correctly. If the acolyte had better scripts and execution it might've been a higher score but not in the top 10 shows of the year

More like pandaring to your incompetent employees. i.e. the "We want to make movies too"
Instead of saying. This person sounds like they know how to make a good movie. or they need to make small budget films first to see if they can make something people like.

Budget per minute would be more useful than budget per phantom likes. Personally, I like them each well enough for what they are. Regardless of budget, I don’t think Acolyte is as bad as people make it out to be nor is Godzilla Minus One as good as some people say.

The thing about the rotten tomato score is that a lot of the reviews were faked and the show was bombed with bad reviews, so much so that people went to other shows called “acolyte” and talked about how bad they were and mentioned Disney and Star Wars when they had no relation

i loved godzilla but i’m also loving the show. Disney maybe wants to rope a new audience into the starwars franchise
