*THEME: HOW TO OVERCOME THROUGH FASTING*

🍓No one goes through a proper fast and remains the same, if you put off the devil's garments God will show himself both inside and outside.
🍊These are hard times but when the devil clothes you with his garments he will hold you and blind your eyes
🍓The Isrealites thought going out of Egypt they were done with all their problems, you too think once you received Christ then no more problems
🍊But you will encounter many problems and limitations

📖Numbers 14:1-
🍊Many of us want to go back to the sinful world we were in saying things are hard but what we need to do is learn to fast. Problems of these days need you to fast and seek God
📖Vs 11
🍓The Isrealites doubted God but God had seen them through many problems, you too have seen God's hand so don't give up
📖Exodus 14:10-
🍊Whatever you choose to do in the midst of anger, worry, fear will be guided by the devil
🍓You need to enter into fasting to get rid of all these spirits so the holy Spirit can come in.
🍊You don't have the strength in you to defeat these demons, but you fast to gain the strength of God.
🍓God requires you to have your heart right with God so he can fight for you
🍊Don't rush to remove the outside problem, but fight to remove the problem in your heart
🍓Negativity on the inside can never remove the negativity on the outside, never allow the devil to disturb you on the inside.
🍊As you fast today, deal with the persisting problem but start with your heart and give it to him
📖Deuteronomy 25:17-
🍓God doesn't want anything to limit his child he will always come through
📖1 Samuel 15:1-
🍊God wanted all the Amelikites to be destroyed because they resisted the children of Israel as they were in the wilderness
🍊Even when God has given you a promise, expect the hindrances to come but we run to God to overcome all the hindrances
📖Numbers 13:26-
🍓The Isrealites found hindrance even in the promised land.
🍊Don't think that running away will overcome problems, leaving your marriage is not a solution even single mothers have problems
🍓Something can come up and you feel very intimidated, but Joshua and Caleb had another spirit in them that did not let them waiver
🍊To get this spirit you need to fast
Another thing that brings you problems is disobedience
📖Jonah 1:7-
🍓Jonah was disobedient but fasted and was later delivered.
🍊When you fast and seek God, things will never be the same.
🍓Jonah later went and preached after he had been delivered and brought about a revival in Nineveh
🍊You too need to fast and overcome these problems, fast to reverse what your husband is doing
📖Matthew 12:38-
🍓Jesus spent 3 days and night like Jonah and as a result Jesus changed the world
🍊So whoever fasts in the same way, pray against what is holding your heart and let it be pure, then God will deal with the outside problems
📖Isaiah 61:1-
🍓
🍊We took are going to hold to that God.
🍓The God who fought for Jesus when he was young and Herod didn't kill him, will help you too
📖Exodus 1:15-
🍊Pharaoh feared the Hebrews to increase and ordered the killing of Hebrew baby boys, but God used the midwives to save the boys, same way God will save you

⚔️⚔️ *Some of the things that bring hindrances* ⚔️⚔️

⚔️Witchcraft
This can come from those who don't wish you well, or from within the family and you are not allowed to marry
⚔️Dreaming when you are having sex with someone and the devil claims you as his wife or husband
📖1 Peter 3:7-
⚔️Sin can bring hindrances
⚔️As a husband, it's bad to mistreat your wife, your maid, your step child, God will not hear your prayers
⚔️Pride
⚔️Pride brings problems , God resists the proud because they claim the glory of God
📖1 Peter 5:5-
⚔️When God makes you rich don't get proud, God works in humility
📖Numbers 22:22-
⚔️Disobedience, Balaam tried to force his way to go curse the Isrealites and the angel resisted him until his foot was smashed on the wall
⚔️The horse saw the angel but Balaam did not. Similarly you too are not seeing in the spirit but are fighting in the physical like Balaam
⚔️Go before God and repent of disobedience, many of us have refused to do what God has given us to do and have found much resistance
⚔️But the God who got you out of Egypt, will not leave you in the wilderness, he is more powerful than all the demons and spirits that resist you
📖Isaiah 43:11-
⚔️Even if you are surrounded by the desert , he can make a way, our God is unlimited and cannot be limited by those things that limit you
⚔️When God is working on your behalf, nothing can resist you when you are together with God
⚔️The storm could not resist Paul from going to Rome because God was with him
📖Exodus 23:20-
⚔️As long as you stand firm in God and have a changed heart, he will help you to overcome.
⚔️But once you fast, God empowers you to overcome the things that resist you and bring peace and joy in your heart.
⚔️But if you refuse to fast you cannot overcome in your own power.
