I have a question, At 26:54 when it is load case 1 and wind direction is W to E. According ASCE 0 to h and h/2 .. all these region are horizontal distances from windward edge. When windward edge is at west then how these pressures can be illustrated in N-S directions???

And at 31:30 when windward side is the South Side. Is it right to apply pressure according to Section A-A ? Because in section A-A the concept of 0 to h is no more applicable because it is not a windward side.

Great video and explanation sir.. but i have a clarification..

Example:
1. As per the table.. for both parallel or perpendicular to the ridge.. the wind will be upwards or suction?

2. Then the horizontal dist from windward edge will be both applicable to either parallel or perpendicular to ridge?

If we are talking about the wind load on the structure of solar panels then the formula for calculating wind load will be taken from open buildings with monoslope roofs ?

Hii im fresher structural engineer i had one doubt here what is meant by case 1 and case 2.I thought that case 1means windward direction and case2 means leeward direction is it correct, can you pls clarify this one
