I used to LOVE when they did this on older albums. Dr Dre's production always had these, 2001 is the perfect example of that in an album. I always wondered how it was possible on CDs!

Austin you give what we need constantly. Thanks for that and for educating artists who cannot afford expensive university courses. Thanks on behalf of everyone who believes this man.

Tyler does this so effortlessly on Flower Boy

I still use an old iMac with WaveBurner (that came with Logic in the past) to create master files for CD burning / pressing. You now also have a HOFA DDP mastering plug-in that can do this for creating an album that nicely flows (including how much time / pause / silence there is between songs or how they transition.) TIP: When creating songs with longer intro's (that often get skipped by people with no attention span, like almost everybody these days) there's a great trick: Put the intro of the song at the end of the previous song on the album or EP, that way you get the album experience when listening to the whole thing, but your song also "gets to the point" when skipping to the next track. (It's a bit like creating a Radio Edit.)

Brakence’s new album does a remarkable job of this.

Austin, love your work my friend. I'm studying song structure to get ideas for my strange music. It's incredible how well you dive into these things. Thank you for the hard work, as a content creator myself. I understand.

Great tutorial, thank you! I figured there would be lots of workflows to achieve the same goal, but it was nice to see one laid out so plainly.

I am looking to do seamless connect with music in one song. I have heard it once in my life, but I don't know how to create it.
Music from 1950"s to 1940"s, to classical, to jazz and many other types of music genres and eras. Various types of music styles morphing into the next type of song. This is not possible to hear it again because what I heard was made by supernatural. I know it is only possible because I heard it, but I don't have enough experience with music to even know how to do this. It was flawless and beautiful to hear even though it was keeping me awake.

Thanks for another great video! Every time I take away something meaningful for me, but most of all I love your sound.
To setting markers for export, just highlight the part you need and press "P". :-)

Cubase Tipp: To set your markers around the region you want to export (like your song) just select the region and press "P".

Highlight any event hit "P" on your keyboard and your locators automatically cycles at event region, then export... from anywhere (you dont have to move the events from behind to start to export with this)

Is there a reliable way to test that they work before you distribute them to Spotify? I uploaded them to SoundCloud and there was a gap but I don’t know if that’s just a SoundCloud problem or if I did sometheing wrong. Could use some help pls thanks
