Bud was in a rehab program during the recording of 40 oz he only plays on 4 tracks it was ras mg aka yellow lover aka field Marshall on don’t push Brad sings “listen yellow lover he’s right on time” I love bud but it’s fucked up that he acts like he was there not cool at all give Marshall Goodman the credit he deserves god dammit love buds drumming but Marshall Goodman is a bad ass drummer to and if it wasn’t for him we would not have all that bad ass drumming on 40 oz cause Bud was in rehab he plays on songs that were previously on Jah won’t pay the bills “new song” which is dope and one of my favs on the album and also “bad fish” “ lets go get stoned” and some other song I forget but everything else is Ras Mg he is the dude that does the rapping on “live at e’s” more people should know And Ras Mg also plays the drums on “what I Got” ahhhh so underrated and under appreciated but people like me who love the music and read up on all the history know this so the information is out there if you care to check into it.
