I think he said "maybe they want it more" as a way of incentivizing himself and his team to amp everything up from here on out, not admitting defeat or that he actually thinks that, but that his team wasn't play as if they want it more. I think people are taking that phrase too much at face value. I could be wrong though.

Embid, Harden, Jalen Brown, Tatum, Steph and Klay, LBJ all these stars are ballin.. where is our allstar at man! Look Im not gonna lie I appreciate everything Ju has done here, hes been a big reason the knicks have elevated and in the playoffs but it seems like this is the ceiling for him as the main guy. He can get you to the playoffs but the motor stops running. I respect this guy for giving it his all here but perhaps his all aint good enough?

This is why Miami drafted Bam instead of a dominant center. With small ball you can play at a faster pace and score more points. Knicks centers are non existent.
