Li sings traditional Chinese opera because in the past, women weren’t allowed to sing on stage. Dimash does lots of duets. I hunk he likes the challenges. Have you seen Swan Goose where Dimash sings with Tungri a much older man who does very deep throat sounds, They are backed with a throat singing Mongolian band, I believe. It’s really fun.

Li Yugang: A antiga tradição chinesa impedia que as mulheres se apresentassem para os homens na Antiga Ópera de Pequim. Dessa tradição surgiu um estilo chamado “Nan Dan”, no qual o homem desempenha um papel feminino na Ópera de Pequim. Aquele que era uma restrição, hoje virou cultura e o maior expoente dessa cultura na China é o cantor e performer Li Yugang: Que criou sua própria peça teatral (que rodou o mundo em 2015) e lançou vários CDs (com sucesso de vendas) ele ganhou 4 prêmios Denny em Pequim.
