S usually represent Speed is use in almost everything Cars Computers etc. They already got the 8X this is to make it different for the other Windows phone. People usually related S to fast so is just a marketing thing

The front looks very much like an Xperia U. Overall the design isn't bad, although I wonder how long I'll be able to stand white icons and text on a yellow background

Is their anything you wish it had that android has, im looking for function over form. How reliable is it, ive heard from my friends that android crashes a lot but the features make up for it. Does WP ever crash, freeze, stutter, or lag. Sorry about all the questions.

Its trying to get ahead of the iphone 5. Its 5s, 6, 6s, 7, 7s, 8, 8s so it's 7 iterations ahead in its name
