I'm pretty sure if any dinosaur survived extinction they will either evolve to another species or just flat out die for another reason

Archaeopteryx did not survive the KT mass extinction, it was either out competitioned by other creatures of its niche, or it transitioned into birds. Sure, archaeopteryx was a carnivore, but it mainly ate bugs, lizards, amphibians and fish. It would not be aggressive, and would probably be out competitioned by raptors like eagles and falcons, as it most likely couldn’t fly and could only glide.

2) Could we reverse global warming using future tech invented to terraform Mars or Venus on Earth? So basically we would take tech used to terraform Mars or Venus and use it to reverse global warming/climate change here on Earth. Is that possible, at some point in the near future? Why hasn't a scifi writing thought about working that into a fictional story? I really don't understand why no one considers this.
