How to install push opening system for drawers

Push opening system is now incredibly popular in modern furniture, and works for both drawers and cupboards. It's durable, easy to install and adjustable. If you love your drawers front design and don’t want to ruin the looks by installing the handle, push to open mechanism is the ideal option for you. No more drilling for a knob or handle, push-opener replaces them both!

Could you install this on a soft close drawer ? Looks like you would just then push in to close once it reaches the soft close point? I have a drawer that is a tight fit and a handle will not work.

why can't you mount the unit at the back of the cabinet, where it would not be seen?

Had these things installed on drawers and cabinets but after a few years, they would just randomly open bu themselves, or wont close at all. Really annoying. Dont know how to fix them or just put handles on it.
