what if we were looking for the vector electric field that 6nC and -3nC charges would create together at the origin? I know the answer is (-0.599i-2.69j) but why are the values negative?

they asked for the angle counterclockwise from the +x axis and i subtracted my angle out of 270 and it was wrong, what should i do? please please pleaaaseee answer, thank you
