As an older gamer I’m 71 I only buy physical games so when I pass my grandson’s will be able to have them with digital they’re gone

If Nintendo goes digital, I’m becoming a pirate, I’m not paying 60$ if I don’t have a tangable item in my hand that can go in my collection

When you can no longer by physical, I'll be cutting my game purchases down by at least 75%. When I can only buy digital, it will be a purchase only if I know I'm going to squeeze all the value out of the "rental" that I can, otherwise I'll pass. Currently I have roughly 370 switch games (most physical) because I like to collect them as well as play them.

First party digital games don't get steep discounts so might as well get physical sometimes you get better discounts on physical first party

I'm all physical games. I really think Nintendo needs to rerelease all the classic games like the original Pokemon Red Blue yellow Dragonball legacy of Goku the original dragon quest series. Not to mention Zelda wind waker and twilight princess

Always encouraging to see physical still maintaining an edge on Nintendo consoles. Literally the ONLY digital games I ever buy are those smaller games with no chance of a physical release. Even with the lower budget games, there is often at least a limited print option available at some point by LRG, Super Rare, etc. This is one of the reasons I shifted my primary support from Sony consoles to Nintendo consoles over the past 15+ years. Haven't liked the trend of shoving digital down our throats by Nintendo competitors, while Nintendo largely clings to physical media.

I will always buy physical I do double dip but it depends on the games the most upsetting things for me is digital servers powering down after so many years and you losing because you can’t play anymore because the servers are no longer there so where I can buy physical first and make sure you have downloaded what it needs so you can still for years to come

My main worry if Switch games would be compatible with the next console. Retrocompatibility is a must, if you could transfer you safe files of those games even better.

Physical always. I only go digital for indie games. The only game i got digital is Yooka Laylee and that's because i couldn't find it at reasonable price physically. Ended up getting it for $9
