Joby GripTight Mount Pro Unboxing

This is an unboxing of a Joby GripTight Mount Pro. It is designed to hold your phone and allow the user to attach it to a 1/4"-20 mounting screw normally outfitted on standardized mounts.

I take you from looking at the packaging, to the manual, and finally to the unboxing and demonstrate putting it on a tripod.

I also do a small voice over with a somewhat silly intention. Hope it isn't to distracting.... :)

The mount does work well and is going to be a staple when using for video or pictures with my cell phones. I have larger 5.2" and 5.5" screen phones and both fit. They even fit with cases on them.

It is compatible with any brand smartphone and OS.

The box reads that it grips phones that are 56-91 mm or 2.2"-3.6" wide. The design is to grip the sides rather than the top and bottom of the phone. Due to this design, I was able to even leave my phone plugged in while recording.

Ok the over voices are distracting but I came here to see how to open the (grrrr) plates and was happy to see you struggling too (in a good way like share the struggle), so got the courage to PULL REALLY HARD and it opened. 👍 Thank you!

LOL I found the background voices funny, especially when he was trying to extend the grip. Just bought one and looking at videos to decide if I should open it for keeps.

There are two metal plates and I think they just get a little stuck together from moisture. You need to rotate the small screw to the left all the way then just pull it apart hard. This video sucks balls.

Omg the additional voice is so unnecessary
