tbh, this kinds of popup have been around for almost 20yrs(especially when Matthew Reinhart and Robert Sabuda innovated it)

Pop up books is why I have some of the ‘Ology’ books (Dragonoly, Wizardology, Egyptology, A Fairy Godmothers Guide to being a Princess, and Fairtyropolis) is becuase they have stuff that’s like little envelopes with letters in them, there’s hidden messages, and there’s sometimes even tactile stuff in them too. I’m fourteen, but I still love books I can touch/feel when I read them

Reminds me of one I had as a kid in the 70s on stage theatres. It was so intricate, so many things on a page to lift, slide, open and pop up. Plus so many moving parts on wheels. The changing costumes slide made actors wear stuff for different plays. The stage popped up and then you lifted it to reveal backstage etc. It was a treasure I loved.
